Hosting your website
In order that your web site may be seen by anyone who is online it must be hosted on a computer which can offer this facility.
What does it cost?
There is an annual fee which covers the rental of a certain amount of server space and data transferred (bandwidth). We offer packages to suite different client requirements starting from a minimum space of 20 Mb.
Typical server space requirements
If you plan to have a small presence with say 5 to 10 pages 5 to 20 megabytes of space would be sufficient. A larger site with multiple languages or an online store would need more space typically between 50 and 80 Mb.
Email boxes
It is worth noting that the hosting service is also responsible for providing space for use by email boxes. This space should be considered as an addition to the space required by your website. Therefore, if you plan to have five email boxes with a limit of 10 megabyte each you need to look at 50 Mb of space reserved for emails on top of the space you estimated for the website.
